A Century of Faith in American Samoa
🌺 100 Years of Pentecostal Fire: A Centennial Message
“Taeao Nai Gagamoe” – The Dawn of a New Dream
In 1928, the flame of Pentecost arrived on the shores of American Samoa. What began as a spark has become a blazing fire—lighting hearts, transforming lives, and shaping generations. For 100 years, the Assemblies of God has stood as a beacon of faith, hope, and Holy Spirit power across our islands and beyond.
We honor the pioneers who walked by faith, the pastors who preached with fire, the families who built with sacrifice, and the youth who carried the torch forward. Their legacy is our foundation.
But this centennial is not just a celebration of the past—it is a commissioning for the future.
We dream of a church that is anchored in truth, yet agile in mission.
We dream of digital inclusion, where every island and every soul is connected to the gospel.
We dream of new spaces—like our upcoming church hall—where worship, fellowship, and legacy converge.
We dream of equipping women, youth, and elders to lead boldly, serve faithfully, and love deeply.
As we step into the next century, we declare: We’ve come this far by faith—and we will go further by surrender, generosity, and trust.
To God be the glory. To the Spirit be the fire. To the people be the call.
