“. . . and by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.” (Hebrews 11:4b). Abel was commended as a righteous man because of his faith as shown in his offerings. Even though he was murdered by his own brother, but God declared him righteous, and his life still speaks. It is no wonder man is required to live by faith (Romans 1:17); and by faith we are saved (Ephesians 2:8). However death comes our way, the most important thing is whether we will still speak after death. Abel still speaks because of his faith shown by his offerings, so as your life in God. So as we go to church this Sunday, worship as you build your faith, for by faith God can declare you righteous and your life will still speak beyond death. . . . Blessings!!!

“To become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.” (2 Cor. 5:21). First there is the ministry of reconciliation given to us by Jesus who reconciled us to God (vs. 18). Then the message of reconciliation committed to us by God who reconciled us to Him through Christ (vs. 19). Then the call for us to become Christ’s ambassadors (CA) to take the message of reconciliation to the world of lost sinners (vs. 20). By doing so, we get involved in the ministry of reconciliation, and we become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. It’s a simple way to be the righteousness of God, getting people reconciled to God. Thus we become vessels of God’s love to all people. While the world is lost without Christ, we have the hope for the world which is the love of God in Christ Jesus who died to reconcile men to God. So as we go to church this Sunday, be involved and share the message of reconciliation found in Jesus Christ alone….Blessings!!!

“A strong inner being.” It was a prayer offered by the Apostle Paul for the Ephesians (Eph. 3:16). It is the heart that needs strength, spiritual strength. Because whatever happens to you in life affects your heart. Therefore if your heart is strong, things happen to you will not affect you. The key is to connect with God at all times. Talk to Him in prayer, and let Him speak to your inner man by His word and by His Spirit revealing Himself to you. By doing so, you will find yourself being strengthened by the power of God. God is never far away, He lives in your heart, and He is only a prayer away. When your heart is right, your perspective of everything is always right. So as we go to church this Sunday, worship and ask God to give you strength in your inner being, your heart…. Blessings!!!

I have never seen the righteous forsaken, or their children begging bread.” (Psalms 37:5). The righteousness of God is in His son Jesus. When we accept Jesus as Lord & Saviour, His righteousness becomes ours and though we do not deserve to be called as such, yet we have been made righteous only in and through Jesus (Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:4-10). Such are the kind of people whom David referred to whom he never saw forsaken, and their children never had to beg for bread. It speaks of the love of God that protects and provides. Our lives is in the hands of God as we serve and live for Him on earth. It is the benefit of being called righteous in His sight. It is not how the world look at you but it is how God does. So as we go to church this Sunday, worship and thank God for His protection and provision, as someone He called Righteous. Happy Sunday… Blessings!!!

“How can I repay the Lord for all his goodness to me?”
(Ps. 116:12). A question David asked of himself, which he aswered saying, “I will fulfill my vows to the Lord in the presence of his people.” (vs. 14). Living for God is the most fulfilling life of all. A life where the goodness of God was experienced by the Psalmist, and you also may have tasted it and agreed to be a wonderful adventure. To the Psalmist, the way he repaid God’s goodness was to do what he had promised God that he would do. And such must be done in the land of the living, meaning this present world, where people bear witness of what we do. It is so pleasing to God that we do His will, moreover to fulfill what we pledged to do for Him. When we do that, it not only pleases God but our lives will bear witness of God’s love, and people around us will get to know Him. So as we go to church this Sunday, worship and be reminded to keep repaying God’s goodness by living out a life pleasing to His sight. . . Blessings!!!

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is twofold. He is called the Counselor, the Comforter and He has been sent from heaven to earth to do two things. To teach us all things, and to remind us of what Jesus said. “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” (John 16:26). Jesus promised this to the disciples and was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost. The experiences faced by the disciples in their ministry were not all good, they also faced persecutions and death. But the Holy Spirit was with them teaching and reminding them of Jesus and what He taught them. They were bold, wise, full of faith, committed and stayed loyal to Jesus, because the Holy Spirit ministered to them. It is the same for us today, as we face many challenges in this life. We have the Counselor, the Holy Spirit to help us. So as we go to church this Sunday, worship Him who is able to teach and remind us of Jesus and His word….Blessings!!!

“Whoever claims to live in Him must walk as Jesus did.” (1 Jn. 2:6). We heard it often said as “walking the talk.” It is important that we follow through our testimony with a changed life. Such is based on a constant and a daily renewed mind (Rom. 12:2). John admonished his readers to rejoice over their inheritance as children of God. They must exhibit true love among themselves. However the world will know they are God’s children by their behavior. Jesus claimed to be the son of God, and His behavior proved that claim. It is the same with us, our lives must speak volume of our testimony and claim as children of God. So as we go to church this Sunday, worship and enjoy being a child of God. And ask Him to strengthen your lifestyle by His Spirit that people may know that we are His children. …Blessings!!!

“The privilege of being called the children of God.” It has been said that God has no grandchildren. In the natural grandchildren draw more love from grandparents than their own children. But in the spiritual realm, God’s love is the same for His children because He has no grandchildren. The bible says God’s love is being bestowed upon us His children (1 John 3:1 KJV). The world does not know God’s love because they do not know Him. So it is important to know God so you can experience His love. When you have a relationship with God based on His love, you will have the hope of eternal life (vs. 2, 3). That’s why, it is a privilege to be called the children of God. It gurantees joy, peace, and hope, for you. So as we go to church this Sunday, worship and invite God into your life that you may experience His love, moreover thank Him for the privilege of being called His children….Blessings!!!

“You shall act in the fear of the Lord, faithfully and with a loyal heart.” (2 Chronicles 19:9). This was King Jehoshaphat’s command to the Levites, priests, and the chief fathers of Judah when they returned from war with peace. Serving God includes these ingredients which are the fear of God, faithfulness, and loyalty. The fear of God is a strong basis of faithfulness. Faithfulness is a life full of faith. A faithful person always acts out his/her duties by faith. And ones a person has the fear of God and lives by faith, loyalty is inevitable in that person’s life. We need people of this caliber in God’s kingdom on earth, the church today. So as we go to church this Sunday, worship and pray that we become those who continue to serve God with the above qualities. Fear God, be faithful, and have a loyal heart….Blessings!!!

There is only one source of the anointing, the Holy Spirit of God. The bible said the anointing teaches us as we abide in Him and His word (1 John 2:27). The Holy Spirit, our Counselor teaches us all things and reminds us His word (John 14:26). Therefore, your relationship with God the Holy Spirit and His word is important if you need the anointing. We must abide in His truth (1 John 2:20). If you honor, respect, and do justice to His word, He will anoint you for His service. While we may be well equipped with skills, well versed in the Scriptures and talented Christian workers, it is the anointing that produces good results of our work for God. So as we go to church this Sunday, worship and be reminded that there is only one source of the anointing, and that is God the Holy Spirit….Blessings!!!

Pentecost Sunday falls on the seventh Sunday after Easter. It is to commemorate the descendant of the Holy Spirit upon the apostles and Christ’s followers during the Feast of weeks called Pentecost as recorded in Acts 2. The Christian church claims Pentecost as its birth, as the first apostles and those who were at the upper room were filled with the Holy Spirit. The Pentecostal church put so much emphasis on the Spirit, His work in believers, and the need for all believers to be filled with the Holy Spirit (Eph. 5:18). Since the day of Pentecost, God has been moving in the world by His Spirit saving souls, equipping Christians for ministry until today. It is vital to allow Him to move even more in our churches today. So as we go to church this Pentecost Sunday, let us worship, and renew our relationship with the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to continue to move in our lives. .Blessings!!!
